Carbo Tech was incorporated in the State of Georgia on September 17, 1980

August 1, 1987 - Carbo Tech started business operations in a 4,000 sq. ft. warehouse

1987 - Rebuilt and shipped our first CO2 receivers

       

1988 - Carbo Tech relocated to Conyers, GA with 7,000 sq. ft. of production space

            1989 - 1990 Carbo Tech increased production space to 14,000 sq. ft. and
later to 21,000 sq. ft.

1990 - Shipped our first new 50 ton carbon dioxide receivers

      1991- Shipped our first new 50 ton carbon dioxide portable receiver

          1991 - Carbo Tech relocated to Monroe, GA with a 20,000 sq. ft. shop,
            11 acres of outside storage and a 38,000 sq. ft. building needing refurbishment

       

1992 - Repaired our first vacuum insulated cryogenic vessels

Completed our first field insulation job (150 ton)

             Shipped 26 ton CO2 receiver with two 40 HP refrigeration systems
for rail depot use

      1993 - Carbo Tech cooperated with a major industrial gas supplier,
           Copeland Corporation and Sporlan Valve Company to build, test and ship what is
         believed to be the first system specifically designed to operate using HP-62 (R-404A)

        1994 - Shipped our first Mini Bulk Delivery Tank (mounted by others)

      1995 - Shipped our first new 50 ton portable with refrigeration system

           Offered specifically designed equipment for shipment in high cube containers for export

Offered demountable receivers for export

1996 - Shipped our first 120 ton capacity carbon dioxide receiver

    Carbo Tech expanded production operations into our newly refurbished
            38,000 sq. ft. building.  The building features a 15 ton bridge crane, final prep shop
               for DOT mini bulk equipment, steel plate bending rolls, tank turning rolls, fit up rack,
        super insulation equipment, vacuum and leak detection equipment

         March 21, 1997 - In accordance with Section 107.503 of Title 49, Code of Federal
            Regulations (49CFR) Carbo Tech is registered with the US Department of
              Transportation Research and Special Programs Administration and assigned
   registration identification number CT-7397

1997 - Built our first Mini Bulk Delivery Unit

    October 4, 1999 - In accordance with Section 107.503 of Title 49, Code of
     Federal Regulations (49CFR) Carbo Tech is registered with the US Department of
Transportation Research and Special Programs Administration and assigned
registration identification number CT-8042

    October 22, 1999 - Carbo Tech issued Certificate of Authorization number
          R-5442 by the National Board and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to use the "R" SYMBOL in
 accordance with the provisions of the National Board to perform repairs
       and/or alterations at our Monroe location and extended for field repairs and/or
  alterations controlled by the same location

       Converted 3 ton horizontal CO2 receiver to super insulated vacuum jacketed (proto-type)

      Shipped our first new 14 ton capacity horizontal super insulated vacuum jacketed
carbon dioxide receiver. 

    Carbo Tech filed for a patent for a new support concept for vertical vacuum
          insulated receivers.  We designed and shipped new low profile mini
bulk delivery unit that features lower center of gravity
 and removable cylinders compartments

     September 12, 2000 - In accordance with Part 565, 566 and 567 (Certification)
     of Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations Carbo Tech, Inc. is registered with
           the US Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration as a manufacturer of motor vehicles and
assigned number WMI: IC9/795.

    2000 - Shipped our first new 60 ton portables for oil field service

    December 7, 2000 - Issued Canadian TSSA (Technical Standards and Safety Authority)
   Boiler and Pressure Vessels Safety Division Canadian Registration Number (CRN)
 OH6911.5 for some vertical carbon dioxide receivers.

  2002- Converted 30 ton capacity urethane insulated horizontal receiver to super
        insulated vertical vacuum jacketed receiver with manhole access.

   CRYO-ONE approved by the U.S. Trademark Office as a registered trademark
of Carbo Tech, Incorporated

  2002 - Carbo Tech approved for renewal of Certificate of Authorization number
 R-5442 by The National Board and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to use the "R" SYMBOL
    in accordance with the provisions of the National Board to perform repairs and/or    alterations at our Monroe location and extended for field repairs and/or alterations
      controlled by the same location.

     2003 - Converted our first 50 ton static receiver to portable oil field storage

     September 9, 2005 - Carbo Tech approved for renewal of Certificate of Authorization
       number R-5442 by The National Board and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to use the
      "R" SYMBOL in accordance with the provisions of the National Board to perform
 repairs and/or alterations controlled by the same location.  

  March 2006 - Carbo Tech cooperates with a major equipment supplier to fabricate a 3,000 gallon liquid nitrogen storage vessel.  Our portion included responsibility for all annular piping, inner supports, super insulation, installation of jacket, all exterior piping and testing.

  May 2006 - Carbo Tech orders a second new bridge crane. The extra lifting capacity
  will allow Carbo Tech to offer new 50 ton capacity vacuum insulated equipment.

September 7, 2006 - Carbo Tech receives Certificate of Authorization number
36006 from ASME to use the U Stamp.   

 September 12, 2006 - Carbo Tech receives Certificate of Authorization from
The National Board to use the NB mark on items manufactured in
accordance with the ASME U Stamp

 October 6, 2006 - Carbo Tech completes first code pressure vessel

 May 25, 2007 - First new 70 ton capacity oil field portable

April 2008 - First completely rebuilt 5600 gallon carbon dioxide transport
